Dr. Christine Last
Family Physician
Dr. Christine Last is a family physician who joined the Tay River team in January 2024. Dr. Last completed medical school and residency at the University of Ottawa. Looking for a location that supported the community feel and where she could foster strong connections with patients and deliver personalized care, Dr. Last chose to move to Perth and set up her practice in 2014. She values the support she receives from colleagues and the community at large. An outdoor enthusiast, she also enjoys the natural beauty and abundance of lakes and hiking trails the area has to offer.
When not in clinic, Dr. Last assists in the operating room with gynaecological surgeries, provides on-call services for the PSFDH obstetrics department, and hospitalist coverage for patients in hospital.
